According to
Imus the reason
Tom Cruise won't allow pictures of his new baby to be taken is because it's ugly. To quote
Imus, "I suspect it's an ugly baby I hate to say that. I think it's just a fugly baby." Maybe
Joe Scarborough can find out for us in his unrelenting search for baby pictures.
Dan Abrams was described by
Imus today as being enthusiastic and having passion. I guess he is not passionate enough about the news to report on the North Korean missile launch. I had to watch
CNN to get the story. The next few months will be interesting, watching whether
MSNBC's new schedule can bring them out of last place in the cable news war. Though once you watch one prison documentary you have pretty much seen them all.
Fred visited the ranch this weekend.
Imus is still bitching about the 4 million dollars
Fred owes him. This is something new that
Imus has been bringing up lately. Maybe
Imus suspects
Fred might be making some money from his
Outlaw Country gig. I know
Imus needs the money to buy some more $7500.00 giant pottery.
Mike Boettcher reported on the increasing problems in Iraq. He says it's violence like he has never seen. Insurgents pulling people out of cars, checking to see if they are Sunni, and if they are shooting them in the head.
Tracy Burgess, AKA "Rear End Rhonda," admits she uses hair extensions. She is looking pretty good for an older woman. If you like meat with your potatoes then
Tracy is the woman for you. She tries awfully hard to knock the years off and actually succeeds on most days. Though sometimes she does show up looking like she was rode hard the night before.
Jon Meacham is on vacation in Tennessee. He mentioned several times that Senatorial Candidate
Harold Ford Jr. was being real "friendly" with his wife. It was obvious that either Meacham was truly bothered by this or is having some fantasy about a successful black man doing his wife.
Meacham, the managing editor of
Newsweek Magazine, went on to talk about his visit with
Billy Graham.
Meacham who wrote,
"American Gospel: God, the Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation," is genuinely reverential toward
Graham. It's refreshing to see a guy from deep in the bowels of the liberal media to talk so nice about a man like
Billy Graham.
Imus says
Jeff Gordon cheated to win the NASCAR race this past weekend.
Bernard McGuirk encouraged fans to throw cans at
Gordon. He suggested fans throw a pair of balls to
Gordon and described him as a puss.
A child named
Eric won the calf roping competition with a time of 17.9 seconds, breaking the old record of 18.1 seconds.
Wyatt posted a time of 17.1 seconds but his time doesn't count in the competition.
Bo Dietl's son broke his leg in a car wreck. Sounds like it's pretty serious but he is going to be OK.
Bo says he is not homophobic, he just doesn't want hairy legs laying next to him. In fact
Bo says he went to dinner with two homosexuals. I wonder if a guy shaved his legs would
Bo spoon with him?
NBC News Correspondent
Jay Barbree reports he has signed a contract to do, "The First 50 Years of Space," for Smithsonian Books, it will come out next year.
